Sharp is the intersection of what our community wants to read and what it wants to write. When we started this magazine we wanted to create a place for dialogue where all quality content is accepted and celebrated. Our goal is to illuminate the unseen voices in Oxford and on the Ole Miss campus.
Sharp is for cutting stories and perspectives that push the limits, provoke thought and cross stylistic and disciplinary boundaries. This publication seeks to make sense of the world, not just describe it. Instead of sharing events, we share ideas.
We believe writers do their best work when they are given more freedom to pursue topics they believe are important. Quality is our highest priority — we desire to slow down the endless stream of news and create a discussion between everyone that was, is, or will be a part of the Oxford community.
